We will see the Royal Palace, the remains of Chellah, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower in Rabat. Then, we will go to Meknes, where we will dine at a restaurant overlooking the plaza across from the Bab el Mansour entrance. After supper, we will check into a nearby hotel.

Following breakfast, we will be traveling to Rabat, which is the capital city of Morocco's administrative region. The Royal Palace, the Oudaya Garden and Kasbah, the Mohamed V Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower Mosque are all scheduled to be seen during the early hours of our excursion.

After that, we'll keep going until we reach Meknes, the capital of the Ismailian region of Morocco, where we'll pay a visit to the famed Bab el Mansour gate, which is located in Morocco's largest rampart. In addition to that, we will go to the Jewish neighborhood and the Royal Stables.

From there, we will continue on to your hotel in Fes through the holy city of Moulay Driss, passing by the remains of the Roman city Volubilis, where we may pause for photographs before continuing on to Fes and delivering you to your lodging.

The touring of Fez, the spiritual capital, will take up the all of today's schedule. This will include going to the following locations: the Medieval Medina, the Moulay Idriss tomb, the Karaouine Mosque, and the Nejjarine fountain (external visits only).

After a late afternoon trip to the souks and Fes Jdid (new Fes), we'll take you back to your hotel and give you the option of eating lunch at a traditional restaurant located in the center of the Medina. If you want to do so, we'll provide you with the option.

Your journey will continue with a drive to Azrou, where we will make a pit stop to investigate the cedar woodland, which is the natural habitat of the Berber apes. After that, we will continue driving via Midelt, the Ziz valley, and Rissani before arriving in Merzouga.

We will stop for some food and drink in Erfoud for a little while before continuing on to Merzouga. This evening will be spent in a comfortable room at a hotel in the area.

Today, we'll go to the desert area around the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. You'll get to experience the nomads' way of life and the amazing contrast of the desert. We'll go to the dark town of Khamlia, where we'll listen to Gnawa music. In the old capital of Rissani, we'll have a classic Berber Pizza for lunch.

We'll ride camelback in the late afternoon to enjoy the sunset over the dunes before spending the night in a desert tent. We'll have a traditional Tagine meal, sip excellent local mint tea, and listen to traditional Berber music around a campfire while gazing at the stars and the rising moon in the beautiful Sahara desert.

We'll get an early start to watch the dawn over the dunes before checking into a nearby motel to rest. After breakfast, we'll travel via Rissani and Tinghir to Todra gorge, Morocco's tallest and narrowest valley. After lunch at the gorge, we'll travel through the Dades valley, stopping to see the geological formation called as "Monkey Toes" by locals. In Dades Valley, we'll spend the night.

After breakfast, we'll travel via the road of a thousand Kasbahs (fortresses) on our way to Ouarzazate, with a stop at Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of Roses and home to the world-famous Rose Festival.

We'll keep going until we reach the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been featured in several films and television shows, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and the hit series Game of Thrones. The next day, we'll go across the Tizi-n-Tichka pass on our way to Marrakesh for the night.

A local expert will lead us around the streets of Marrakesh today. You will see the city's most notable landmarks, such as Jamma el Fna plaza, the Koutoubia mosque, the souks, the palaces, and the museums. Gueliz, The Menara Gardens, and Majorelle are just a few of the neighborhoods we plan to visit.

We'll be passing through Marrakech on the way to the Atlantic coast and Essaouira, the "Pearl of the Atlantic," so after breakfast we'll take the Tizi-n-Tichka Mountain pass. We arrive in the afternoon, check into our riad, and then walk out to see the sunset from the city's defensive walls, or Murallas.

We'll be dining on the city's finest seafood at twilight and then strolling around the peaceful and lovely grounds. The next day, you might go sightseeing in Essaouira, once known as Mogador (Portuguese). Its medina is a painting of blue and white, bordered by miles of beaches and the historic citadel walls from the Portuguese colonial era, making it one of the most beautiful coastal towns in the Atlantic.
